Written Frames Events: community, communication, & connection.
For cafés, libraries, workplaces, and festivals who want to host a postcard‑writing event for their community.
For who?Written Frames Events are for venues and organizations (cafés, libraries, cultural spaces, festivals, and workplaces) that want to offer their visitors a meaningful, creative way to communicate, write, and connect.
This page is for hosts. Together we design an event for your community; your guests then join on the day.
What to expect? The event can adapt to the place. Together with the host, we decide whether postcards are included with something the venue offers (for example a drink, a plant, or a ticket), or whether there is an open table where people can sit down and buy the postcards they want to write.
❋ Venue and setupWe provide: postcards with our nature photographs, pens, envelopes, postage stamps for mailing, and materials to decorate the envelopes, such as wax seals, small stickers, and scented strips.
❋ MaterialsAt the end, we collect the written cards, check the addresses, and post them for you, so they actually travel to the people you wrote to.
❋ From postcard to mailboxWe open the session with a short introduction and theme, then offer gentle prompts and support, so everyone can find their words and shape them into a letter.
❋ Guided writing

Why a postcard?
A postcard is a cultural and artistic object, as well as a means of communication. It allows art and culture to become more accessible, rather than being reserved for only certain spaces or people.
It is important to keep part of our knowledge, reflections, and struggles outside social media. Social media keeps us connected, but it rarely fosters deep, honest, and open communication. Postcards and handwritten messages bring us back to physical spaces and a more human way of communicating.
Part of Collection # 01: Anthropocentrism from the Postcards for Revolution series. A nature-inspired postcard that pairs photography with a thought-provoking question, inviting you to write, connect, and reflect.
