Postcards for Revolution is one of Eyearthproject's initiatives, created to make not only images travel, but also ideas, conversations, and reflections.
Each postcard explores a different topic and includes a series of questions designed to encourage reflection and spark curiosity. Critical thinking begins when we pause to ask why we do what we do, why we think the way we do, and how we can contribute to building a better world.
Reflection needs community, and each postcard is an invitation to start a conversation and share perspectives. We invite you to write on it and send it on. You can respond to the questions or write about anything else.
Simply allowing the postcard to continue its journey helps spread this initiative, because meaningful change often begins with a single shared idea.
Why a postcard?
A postcard is a cultural and artistic object, as well as a means of communication. It allows art and culture to become more accessible, rather than being reserved for only certain spaces or people.
It is important to keep part of our knowledge, reflections, and struggles outside social media. Social media keeps us connected, but it rarely fosters deep, honest, and open communication. Postcards and handwritten messages bring us back to physical spaces and a more human way of communicating.
Behind Eyearthproject
I'm Sofia Guixà, the photographer and founder behind Eyearthproject. I'm a Politics, Philosophy, Economics and History graduate with a passion for photography, writing, and paper.
Eyearthproject is where these interests meet. It gives me a way to bring the social, cultural, and political questions I care about into something more tangible and community-based.
I believe meaningful change start in small spaces: through learning, questioning, creating, and talking to one another. A photograph, a question, or a postcard might seem small — but ideas move when we share them.
Eyearthproject is my way of making space for those ideas to move.
